Unlocking Circularity

Revealing the potential
of built structures

orto is an interdisciplinary specialist in the digitalization and assessment of built structures.

Using technologies for analysis and digital modelling, we reconstruct and visualise existing data to enable sustainable development.

Since 2022, we have been fostering collaboration in 3D inventory models with orto space, allowing precision where it matters most — at the very start of a project.

We can't afford not to do it.

These and other questions are addressed by the project Open Cultures. Design Principles for Transformative Spaces led by Professor Tatjana Schneider from the Institute for History and Theory of Architecture and Urban Planning at TU Braunschweig. The project is funded by the Climate Future Labs initiative from the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony with €5 million from 2024 to 2030.

    About the Consortium

orto supports TU Braunschweig, Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, and other industry and research contributors in the Open Planning Cultures. Design Principles for Transformative Spaces project, particularly in exploring the potential of digitally supported building and material analysis. orto’s contribution provides the foundation for utilizing the potential of digital building and material analysis during space analysis and making the data accessible to a broad group of experts and stakeholders.
